MDC ADA 2024: Mad Dog Ceramics & A Duck Amuck Collaboration

A Duck-Dog Collaboration

In the Spring 2024, Erwin, illustrator, surface design artist, and muralist, and David, ceramic artist, met at an art fair in Cold Spring, N.Y. Together, they are working to produce one-of-a-kind, fun and functional ceramic art. We hope you find a way to enjoy them everyday!

About Erwin & A Duck Amuck
Erwin is an illustrator, surface design artist, and muralist based in White Plains, New York. His bright and happy character-based illustrations are influenced by a love for nature, food, and city living.

Erwin started A Duck Amuck in 2020 to give people the tools that can bring more joy into their lives, whether through writing short notes and greetings, giving gifts, or decorating a home or office with bright and happy artwork.

About David & Mad Dog Ceramics
David is a ceramic artist working out of his studio in Yonkers, N.Y. He began working with clay as a boy growing up in Tucson. He continued his love for ceramics in the 1980s and helped create the Chelsea Ceramics Guild in Manhattan in 1987. Some of his influences are old Max Fleischer cartoons, balsa wood model plane building, and playing in the mud as a boy in Tucson after a rare rainstorm.

Mad Dog Ceramics and the work David creates in his studio are dedicated to his favorite ceramics teacher, Joy Jonsann.
