Animalia: A National Juried Art Show at BWAC
Exhibition Dates: April 26 – May 18, 2025 (Weekends, 1–6 PM)
Location: Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC), 481 Van Brunt St., Door 7A, Brooklyn, NY 11231
I’m honored to be part of “Animalia,” a national juried exhibition at BWAC celebrating our fascination with the animal world. This show invites us to explore how animals continue to shape our imagination, our communities, and our creative lives.

About the Show
“Animalia” explores the enduring bond between humans and animals—an artistic relationship that dates back to the earliest cave paintings. This diverse exhibition highlights animal-inspired artwork across all mediums, while also creating opportunities for community connection through pet adoptions and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) workshops led by local rescue organizations.
Featured Artwork
School of Fish & Fish Blobs No. 2
I’ll be exhibiting School of Fish and Fish Blobs No. 2 both drawn on 18" x 24" paper—some of my largest original works on paper so far!
If you can’t make it in person, you can explore my animal-inspired art in my online shop.

A Personal Invitation
I applied for this show because I believe in the quiet power of animals to bring us closer—to wonder, to each other, and to ourselves. This exhibition reflects that connection through dozens of artists’ eyes.
If you're nearby, I hope you'll come by to experience it in person. Bring a friend, bring your kids, bring your curiosity. It's free, it's joyful, and it's full of stories waiting to be discovered.
Join my email list if you’d like to hear about future shows, new releases, or moments of joy from the studio. I’d love to stay in touch.
